SOCIAL METAPHYSICIAN
To be against your life and happiness doesn't seem possible. But as a human being with a volitional consciousness it is possible. If it were not possible you would not have nor could not have volition. Some say some people have a vested interest in holding on to the false premise that they do not have volition. Whenever I come across these people my first question to them is: to whom and/or what did you surrender your power of volition. Answers vary, but they all invariably point to the problem of social metaphysics.
Social Metaphysics is:
the psychological syndrome7 that characterizes a person who holds the minds of other people, not objective reality, as his ultimate psycho-epistemological frame of reference.
